This ERA Tiger R6 was originally built by ERA Tiger as its own factory race car, and has subsequently been developed into a seriously focused Hill Climb and Sprint machine. Finished in striking Orange, it combines approximately 210 bhp with an lightweight competition chassis, resulting in the sort of power-to-weight ratio that makes conventional performance cars feel rather unnecessary. Power comes from a modified 2.0-litre Ford Zetec 16-valve engine running individual throttle bodies, coupled to a Quaife 5-speed manual gearbox and Quaife limited-slip differential. Competition Specification Highlights Factory-built ERA Tiger race car, chassis and suspension updated to R10 specification, 2.0-litre Zetec producing approximately 210 bhp, individual throttle bodies, Quaife 5-speed gearbox, Quaife limited-slip differential, 4.4:1 final drive, two-way adjustable dampers, full roll cage, Schroth 4-point competition harness, fire suppression system, 15" ERA alloy wheels and Toyo Proxes R888R tyres. Preparation and Provenance Purchased in 2024 specifically for Hill Climb and Sprint competition, the R6 has since undergone an extensive programme of inspection, preparation and development. The car was fully stripped, allowing the chassis, suspension and drivetrain to be thoroughly inspected. The engine was removed and checked, with components renewed where required. The differential was rebuilt by Bara Motorsport in 2025, receiving a 4.4:1 crown wheel and pinion specifically selected to improve acceleration on shorter Hill Climb courses. The fuel tank, pumps and fuel lines have been renewed, while suspension and steering geometry together with professional corner weighting were completed by Phoenix Motorsport. New ERA 15" wheels and Toyo Proxes R888R tyres were fitted in 2024 and have completed only approximately eight laps of Oulton Park and four Hill Climb events. The Schroth harness and fire suppression system were renewed in 2025. A substantial history file accompanies the car, including invoices from recognised motorsport suppliers and photographic documentation of its strip-down and preparation. Its Motorsport UK Passport was issued in December 2024 and remains valid until December 2034. The Orange bodywork and carbon-fibre wings present extremely well for a competition vehicle, with minor marks, stone chips and previous repairs commensurate with its intended use. The competition graphics can be removed if preferred. The odometer is inoperative and displays zero. The vehicle is not currently road registered and is offered specifically for Hill Climb, Sprint and track use. A genuine factory-built ERA Tiger race car, extensively developed and prepared, with the expensive work already undertaken.
