Vans Today @ Cars Today is owned & run by myself Simon Taft. A family run business that draws upon over 70 years of family experience in the trade spanning 3 generations of the Taft family. We are passionate about motor vehicles with competitive successes in most forms of motorsport starting with Cyril Taft winning the Clubman's Isle of Man TT lightweight in 1949, his sons Greg my father- British Saloon Car Championship & National Rallying , Paul - Multi one make championship champion & Peter-Works Motorcycle rider to Damien representing the UK in Camel Trophy in 1994 & my own humble exploits in Rallying competing in the Peugeot 205 Challenge, Peugeot 206 Supercup, BTRDA Rally championship and latterly with Damien in the Bowler Land Rover Defender Challenge.
