Klic Cars was formed in 1979 by the uncle and nephew partnership of Keith and Leslie McCubbin. Even in the beginning the focus was on personal attention and the view to treat people how we would like to be treated ourselves. This is a view which has served us well over the years and even to this day customers who came to us back in 1979 remain customers today. It has not been plain sailing over the last twenty-five years and there have been many ups and downs and four location changes in Dumfries to get to where we are today. The company is now solely owned by Keith McCubbin after Leslie retired in the late 80's and is still a family orientated firm with two of Keith's sons Grant and Chris now working with their father, Grant in sales and Chris in service. The last five years has seen some changes with the stopping of the car hire part of the business followed by the move into car sales.
